The latest image of the Tesla Model Y Juniper Performance / Plaid

Finally, we have seen the Tesla Model Y Juniper Performance / Plaid for the first time in South Carolina, USA.

The Tesla Model Y Juniper features some significant exterior changes. The most notable update is at the rear of the vehicle, where there is speculation about the taillights, with rumors suggesting a new full-width light bar connecting both sides. However, this has not been confirmed yet. The rear spoiler, different from the Model 3 Performance, is designed not only to enhance the sporty look of the car but also to improve aerodynamics, which is crucial for electric vehicles aiming for high performance and efficiency.

Performance Upgrades: The Juniper Performance variant is expected to deliver around 510 horsepower and 471 lb-ft of torque. This increase in power will significantly improve acceleration and overall driving experience compared to the standard version. With such a powerful motor, it’s expected that the car will accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in under 3 seconds.

Battery Capacity: Rumors suggest that the Juniper Performance will come with a 95 kWh battery system, providing better range and more power compared to the standard model.

Suspension System: The Performance model will likely feature an upgraded suspension system, with the possibility of an adaptive suspension being included to offer superior handling compared to the standard version’s basic suspension system.

These updates suggest a performance-focused, aerodynamic, and efficient version of the Tesla Model Y, tailored to enhance both driving pleasure and electric vehicle capabilities
